“Always, Patsy Cline,” playing in Branson in 2015, tells the story of Patsy’s friendship with Louise Seger, an avid fan who met the famous singer after arriving early to Cline’s show in Houston, Texas. After chatting over a shared pot of coffee and exchanging phone numbers and addresses, the star-struck Seger never expected to hear from her idol again. Much to her surprise, she did and they became and remained friends until Cline’s death a few years later. This critically acclaimed play follows the beginning and continuing friendship between the two women, largely told through the many letters they exchanged.
